Questions

Where do the words come from?

From the Dolch sight-word lists and our grade spelling lists, split into weeks of about ten words. It is a starting plan, not a curriculum: change the words to match what your child is reading.

How long does a week take?

About 15 to 25 minutes a day for most children: one or two pages, plus reading aloud together. The planner suggests a day for each page; move them around as your week needs.

Where are the answers?

At the back of the PDF, after all the child's pages, so you can print the pages for your child and keep the keys.

Can I print the same week again?

Yes. Each download shuffles the scrambles, the maths problems and the word search, so a second copy is new practice with the same words.

Is it free?

Yes: one week at a time with every answer key, no sign-up and no watermark.
